Sahaja Sawah is a boutique resort of luxurious tropical villas situated in an old balinese village on the west coast, 25 km from the most famous Bali attraction Tanah lot. The tranquil beauty of the village scenery is unique. It sets into lush green paddy fields overlooking the ocean in the rural province of Tabanan. Tabanan is widely known as “the real Bali” and delights the senses with its quaint villages linked by a network of tiny lanes, temples, exceptionally friendly people and stunning backdrop of untouched beaches, rice paddies as far as the eye can see, mountains, rivers and jungle.

Sahaja Sawah was built in 2008 and started to open in 2010. Hidden in one of the most picturesque regions of Bali, our peaceful boutique resort is the perfect family getaway for experiencing true Balinese life and culture. Located in the small village of Tegalmengkeb, 11km north of the famous sea temple Tanah Lot, surrounded by Tabanan’s endless rice terraces, mountain skylines, soothing rivers and dense green jungle. Guests can expect romantic sunsets, secluded beaches, quaint villages, traditional markets, historical temples, family fun days out and much more. Sahaja Sawah has a team of 30 staff and 100% of the staff are from the local villages. We are one big family team that will be very delightful to welcoming our guests and making it sure your holiday to feel like home away from home.
